Hardware Return & Refund Policy

If you’re looking to return or exchange your order for whatever reason, we’re here to help! We offer free returns or exchanges within 60 days or purchase. You can return your product for store credit, a different product, or a refund to the original payment method.

Please note the following exceptions to our return and refund policy: 

Below are some examples of common exceptions

  • Discounted items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged
  • Returned items must have original packaging and be returned in original product box
  • Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use
  • Returned items must be functional as originally intended, except in cases when product is non-functioning from the manufacture.
To initiate a return or exchange, please complete the following steps:
  1. Complete an online Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form by visiting
    https://www.et-kc.com/rma-request and entering your order number, found on your
    order confirmation.
  2. Choose the products you wish to return or exchange from your order.
  3. Print the prepaid shipping label that you will receive after submitting the RMA form by
    email.
  4. Send all items back to us using the label provided, ensuring to pack the product
    appropriately to prevent further damage during shipping.
How long until the customer receives a refund, replacement product, or store credit? 
Once we have received a customer returned product(s) into our warehouse, we process
the return within 24 hours. If approved, we initiate refunds immediately. The time it requires
for a refund to post to a credit/debit card statement is dependent on the issuing bank,
however, is usually posted within 5-7 business days. Replacement products are shipped via UPS
Ground in 3-4 business days after we’ve processed the return request. In store credits are
initiated immediately after return approval and available for immediate use within our website. 
 
Who pays for the shipping for the return and replacement? 
All shipping costs incurred by a return and/or replacement will be covered by Evans
Tech. You will not be responsible for any shipping or processing fees incurred by processing a
refund and/or replacement.
 
Does the customer pay restocking fees? 
We do not charge customers with restocking fees for any returns processed through the Evans Tech website. 
 
How do you handle lost or damaged returns?
If a return package is lost or damaged in transit by the carrier, the customer will still receive the request refund, replacement, or store credit. This policy is only in effect if the shipping carrier, accepts the package was lost or damaged under their control. In this case, the processing of the return will be delayed by 2-3 business days while we work with the carrier to resolve the issue.
